Original WW2 German paratrooper helmet. The rear interior of helmet above the rim is stamped “ckl/68" (Feint) indicating a size 68 helmet shell manufactured by Eisenhüttenwerk Thale. There are some stamps below which are feint/unreadable. The back of the aluminum band is also stamped "68". Has the liner band, gray leather chinstrap and three of the four bolts, missing one in the rear. Missing the leather lining and pads. The one-hole bolts and nuts are correct for ckl helmets but are not flush, may not be original to the helmet. Retains much of the original paint. The interior crown of the shell has surface rust. Liner band is dented. Still would make a nice display.
